Vetmedin Capsules for dogs are used to treat dogs suffering from canine congestive heart failure caused by an enlarged heart or mitral and/or tricuspid valve insufficiency.

Features:

Vetmedin help stimulate the heart muscle and can help to reduce the progression of damage to the heart.

The hard capsules are orange and white in colour and are available in 2.5mg or 5mg doses of the active ingredient Pimobendan.

Vetmedin is also available as a chewable tablet in 1.25mg, 5mg and 10mg doses to accommodate different sizes and breeds of dog.

Indication:

For treatment of congestive heart failure and cardiac insufficiencies.

Special Instructions & Dosage:

Vetmedin should be administered orally approximately one hour before feeding, and dosed according to your veterinarian's instructions.

Vetmedin capsules should not be used in cases of hypertrophic cardiomyopathies or clinical conditions where an augmentation of cardiac output is not possible for functional or anatomical reasons.

The product should only be used in dogs with cardiac insufficiency. Do not exceed the recommend dosage.
