Dechra Cardisure Cardiomyopathy Flavoured Tablet (5mg)

This is a prescription medicine. A prescription is required from your veterinarian before we can supply this product. Please ensure that you have read the "How to Order" page before ordering this item. The original, physical copy of the accompanying prescription will be collected upon delivery.

Indication:

Cardisure Flavoured Tablets for Dogs is used in the treatment of canine congestive heart failure originating from valvular insufficiency

Each tablet is flavoured to increase the palatability of the medication and to help make administering the tablet easier as it needs to be given on an empty stomach. This is because absorption is reduced when Cardisure is given with food.

Cardisure is often used in conjunction with other medications, such as diuretics e.g Frusemide, Frusedale and Frusecare.

Dosage:

The tablets can be divided into 4 equal parts for accurate dosing.

Cardisure should be administered on an empty stomach at least one hour before meals, as absorption is reduced when given with feed.

The tablets should be administered orally at a dose range of 0.2 mg to 0.6 mg pimobendan/kg body weight per day. Your veterinary surgeon will provide you with an accurate dose rate when prescribing the medication based on your dog’s individual needs.

Active Ingredient:

Pimobendan 5mg

Package Size :

100 tablets per box

Cardisure for your beloved pet

My dog loves it, so no problem feeding her this medication. It seems to be helping her as well.
